Kate Rockwood

Kate Rockwood is an associate editor at Fast Company, a national monthly business magazine and website focused on innovation in technology, design, and sustainability.

She has worked on the editorial teams at Chicago, New Homes, and Centerstage Chicago. Her writing has also appeared in ReadyMade, NYmag.com, Time Out Chicago, Venus Zine, Nation's Restaurant News, Newser, the Daily Herald and the Chicago Sun-Times.

After graduating from the University of Chicago, she earned an MSJ in magazine publishing from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where she acted as editor-in-chief of Midwest Current, the graduate school's internationally distributed print prototype and website.
